Sony introduced the Xperia U back during CES. It’s a smaller version of the Xperia S. Comes with a 3.5″ display and has the same Android soft keys as the S. It will have a 1290mAh removable battery, 1Ghz CPU and a 5MP rear camera with a front-facing camera. It is set to be out and about during the Mobile World Congress next week known as model # ST25i also code-named Kumquat.

The images also show the device with Sony Ericsson branding. With Sony recently purchasing the Ericsson division, makes me wonder if they will change the branding before release or keep it as is. Only time will tell.
