Sony is stepping up their game by being one of the only manufacturers to update not only a single-core phone, but a whole line of single-core devices to Android 4.0.3. Sony released the Beta version of the ICS ROM today to the developer community, who are currently working hard to get rid of any remaining bugs.

While the Beta is almost fully functional, there are a few gaps in the software, such as the lack of Google applications. With a Beta being released, it is only a matter of time before Sony sends out the full upgrade to Android’s latest version.
