Rumor: Galaxy S III to Launch Next Month, be 7MM Thick
After a few days off, the Galaxy S III rumor mill is back and churning. According to ET News, Samsung’s next flagship device, the Galaxy S III, will have a quad-core processor, LTE data and Android 4.0. These specs are right in line with everything else we have heard. We would also expect a 12 MP rear-facing camera, a Super AMOLED HD display, and 2 GB of RAM.
The device is will also be just 7MM thick, thinner than the 8.49 mm Galaxy S II. That is THIN, like Droid RAZR thin.
It is almost confirmed that we will not see the device later this month at Mobile World Congress, but we may not have to wait too much longer. Samsung has started to send press invites out for an event March 22nd in France. As we learned with the Galaxy S II we may not see the device here in the United States until months after its international announcement.
As always, none of this is confirmed, so stay tuned for more info.
