We’ve been expecting Ice Cream Sandwich for our international Galaxy S IIs for some time now, and today Samsung Israel gave us a release date. They say the tasty update will begin rolling out on March 15th. It sounds like this is just for Israelin Galaxy S IIs, but I would expect other international models to recevie it around this time as well. The U.S models, however, are a different story. We have no idea when they will be updated.

We promised we were working on it. You waited patiently. And on 15 March it’ll arrive: Android version 4, ICS, to tens of thousands of GALAXY S II devices purchased from cellular companies in the country or directly from us. We are very excited for the launch, hope you are too
