There have been rumors about a Nexus tablet being in the works for a while now. Our friends over at Android and Me have received more news about the device.

Latest rumors are that ASUS will be the makers of the Nexus tablet. It will be coming with a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU running Android 4.0. It will supposedly be coming to us in the $200 price range to keep up with the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet market. ASUS has made great tablets in the past but to see such a high-end device with such a low price is a little unbelievable to say the least. I would love a pure Google tablet at that price, who wouldn’t? But this is a “have to see it to believe it” kind of rumor at this point.
