Anyone anxious to get an Asus PadFone? I already know quite a few people who are holding off on phone upgrades until they hear news of the PadFone. Well now the wait is over. Well kind of if you live in Taiwan.

Asus has now made the PadFone available for Pre-Order in Taiwan, but pricing may throw you off a bit. You can purchase the phone itself separately, or include the tablet dock or the keyboard and bluetooth headset.

The Phone in all its awesomeness comes at around $610

Add in the Tablet dock and that’s now $850

And then throw in the keyboard dock for a whopping $980.

So guys, willing to cough up almost a grand for a new phone/tablet combo? That keyboard dock does look quite enticing. Asus does promise to throw in a battery pack if you pre-order for free, so maybe that’ll be the Taiwanese incentive?

Shipping date holds steady for an April 20th release, but there still hasn’t been word if this bad boy’s coming international or if it’s even going to hold the same price.
