A few days ago, we saw the Tegra 3 powered Transformer Pad 300  go up for pre-order on a few sites, but with no ship date. That changed today, though as a an ASUS spokesperson told PCWorld that the device will begin shipping on April 22nd. As you may notice, that is the same day as the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and 7.0 are scheduled to hit the shelves.

The Android 4.0 tablet is expected to come in red, blue, and white. Specs include a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter, and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.

An ASUS spokesperson told The Verge that the 16GB  model of the device will cost $379, while a the online retailer J&R had the 32GB model of the device listed at $399.
