The EVO line of devices helped bring Android to the mainstream market, and the latest iteration, the EVO 4G LTE, was announced earlier this month. We found out last week that the device would go up for pre-order on May 6th with a release soon after, according to Sprint. Today, we may have found out that date thanks to the fine folks Android and Me. The blog is reporting that the device will hit the Now Network on May 18th for $199.99. Their source is an “anonymous source inside Sprint, who for obvious reasons, wishes to remain nameless.” The source also pinpointed the Sprint Galaxy Nexus release day.

I’m calling this legit, as Android and Me is one of the most reliable, if not the most reliable, Android sites on the web.
