News: AT&T Says Family Data Plans Are Coming Soon
AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega told CNET today that his company had finalized their plans for shared data plans. He says the plans will officially be unveiled later this year. He did not wish to share specifics, such as pricing and the amount of data.
“I’m very comfortable with the plan that will be offered to our customers,” de la Vega said on the sidelines of his company’s home security and automation event at the CTIA Wireless trade show.
Currently, Verizon is the only United States carrier offering family data plans.
When given the option, would your family switch over to the shared plan? Mine wouldn’t, purely because we go through about 10GB of data total a month.
