News: Sprint’s Leaked New Powerhouse

As the month has been going by, Sprint has been leaking new mid-level devices that haven’t been turning many heads. That’s all about to change with the new LG LS970.
This monster of a device is rumored to be called the “LG Eclipse 4G LTE”. Boasting Qualcomm’s latest and greatest APQ8064, which for those of you who don’t know is essentially the S4 chip but with an extra 2 cores! That’s right, its a quad-core with A15 (besting NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 and Samsung’s Exynos, which will be a generation behind with their A9 cores) Now, trashing the gibberish I’ll remind you that the dual-core A15′s were able to basically be on par with the quad-core A9′s. So if you are highly doubting Qualcomm’s guns on these, you’re in for a big surprise. It will also come with a 4.67″ 1280×768 LCD screen, a 13MP rear shooter, 1.3MP front shooter, 16GB of internal storage, and a 2,100 mAh battery.
Now, if with those specs you’re worried that your phone won’t be razor thin then let me put you at ease by telling you that it comes in at 8.6mm thin. Now as you may have inferred from the devices name, it will be available with Sprints blazing LTE network. And if that doesn’t fulfill your nerdy needs then maybe the amount of RAM that this badboy carries will. Racking up a good 2GB of RAM this beast will handle any amount of multi-tasking you can throw at it.
After reading those amazing specs I must tell you, I had a nerdgasm. I don’t know about you, but as soon as this baby comes out its heading straight to my pocket!
