So AT&T finally decided to show up to the Galaxy S III party. They announced the SGSIII pre-order date as June 6th. It will be going for $199 on contract for the 16GB version with the 32GB version going for….well apparently AT&T thinks it’s customers don’t need a 32GB version. The device does have an SD card slot that you can expand with.

No word on why the guys over at AT&T don’t think we need a 32GB version of the SGSIII. It will come in Marble White and Pebble Blue. Come this summer, they’ll also be offering a red version of it. That’s right, you can’t get a 32GB version but you can get a red one.

Any of our readers on AT&T? Were you planning on picking the device up? How does no 32GB version affect you? Let us know in the comments.

I’m convinced they’re going to make us wait a few months, and then release a 32 gig version with no fanfare, but either way, this is a huge mistake on ATT’s part. My contract has been up for months, and I’ve been waiting for a good phone. The 3 other major carriers have a 32 gig version, my carrier is the only one that doesn’t. What does that say about my carrier?
