News: ITC to Revisit Ruling in Apple vs. Motorola Case
The U.S Internatinoal Trade Commission said today that it will revisit its earlier ruling in a case between Motorola and Apple over patent infringement.
In April, Thomas Pender, an ITC administrative law judge, issued an initial determination in the case that was filed in 2010. Motorola claimed that Apple was violating its patent covering 3G technology.
Reuters now reports that the ITC will revisit its ruling in that case, though nothing will be decided until August 24th.
“Having examined the record of this investigation, including the ALJ’s final ID (Initial Determination), the petitions for review, and the responses thereto, the Commission has determined to review the final ID in part,” the ITC said in a statement.
