News: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Released to AOSP

We told you that it was coming, and here it is. Jean-Baptiste Queru has announced that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean source code is now available in the Android Open Source Project. This means that anyone can download the source code and make their own version of Jelly Bean. The version that is being pushed is Android 4.1.1_r1, which will most likely be the final shipping version.

The code includes binaries for the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7, while binaries for the Nexus S and Motorola Xoom are coming soon.
