After a completely botched retail launch, Google has announced that it is now shipping the first wave of Nexus 7 pre-orders. All pre-orders will ship within 2 business days. When your unit ships, you should receive a confirmation email straight from El Goog.

Calling support will get you absolutely nowhere, so just sit back with a sweet tea and wait for the confirmation email from Google.
