Motorola and Verizon have sent out an invite to a press event the two will be hosting on September 5th. The invite is scarce on details and simply invites us to join Motorola “for the day’s main event.”

It is speculated that Motorola and Verizon will finally announce the much rumored DROID RAZR HD at the event. The RAZR HD is basically an improved RAZR MAXX with a higher-resolution display, better processor, Ice Cream Sandwich, and the same 3,300mAh battery.
